For that Halloween Hoop-la, head to Tipsy and check out the hard ciders, two are made locally in New York.  The True Believer Hard Cider ($13) is made in Long Island, NY, Eve’s Cidery Beckhorn Hollow Traditional Sparkling Cider ($19) is made in the Finger Lakes, NY and the Astarbe Sagardotegia Sidra Natural ($12) – traditional Spanish cider from the Basque region in Spain. Their Annual Fall Sale is going on now through the month of October online & off.

Peck’s is making tombstones & candy corn cookies this spooky season. These custom written delights (with people’s names on them) will be creepy & fun. If you don’t feel like cooking on these family-fun filled days, pick up a rotisserie chicken & two sides of vegetables for $26 or a pint of matzo ball soup $8. Seasonal Ciders and Oktoberfest beers are also available.
