“Make Music New York” Returns to Myrtle Avenue

On Wednesday, June 21, Make Music New York returns to Myrtle Avenue. This long standing event enlivens the entire city with pop-up performances at restaurants, special interest stores, boutiques, wine stores and more. The multi-genre musical experience always makes for a fun day on the Avenue, and a great excuse to get out and meet some neighbors. Below is a list of this year’s participating venues. MAKE MUSIC NEW YORK Line Up at Corkscrew Brooklyn
3PM: Liz Rabson, Brooklyn-based artist and ukeleleist
4PM: Our very own, Rose Thomas Bannister! “This is not your standard subject matter but, then again, these are no standard folk songs.” -Whisperin & Hollerin
5PM: Vasily Colchenko, does 2 sets of songs: his songs in English; and Russian song standards
6PM: Goddess, “Part creepy 60s psychedelic act, part folk noir, part underground theatre troupe, they create a magically eerie ambience, whether live or on record.” -NY Music Daily
7PM: Inti & The Moon,Inti and the Moon combines the influence of Andean music into a sound of the Spanish guitars.
