Halloween on Myrtle 2008

Fri, Oct 31st, 2008

Lots of Halloween action on and around Myrtle today. Many Myrtle Avenue stores are decked out with Halloween decor and further get in on the action with candy for the kids as well as staff fully decked out in costume (for example, the camera died just as we were about to snap a pic of Joseph Tyler Salon staff. uhhhh, seeing is believing, stop by…lol)

A bit of what's happening:

Delicious holiday-themed cookies and cakes at The Bakery–affordable and delicious, stop in. Staff fully decked out in costume at Dope Jams, Rope, Joseph Tyler Salon, Luz, Chez Lola and Maggie Brown. Special music sets at Five Spot Soul Food & Supper Club and Dope Jams. Costume Contests and holiday-themed cocktails at Dope Jams, La Stalla, Tamboril, Luz and Pillow Cafe: Free sangria and a chance to win a dinner for 2 at La Stalla and drink specials all night (until 2am) at Pillow Cafe. Luz is streaming fright movies.

Choose a favorite place or do a little Halloween festivities hop (party over hereeee). Check out the Myrtle Avenue Shopping Guide for addresses. Many Myrtle venues will stay open way later than their usual time tonight. Call and inquire.
