DESCRIPTION:The Intergenerational Community Arts Council (ICAC) presents: \nSHARE! : Resources for Joy \nLocation: Fort Greene Park\, at the bottom of the Monument stairs (nearest accessible entrance: North Portland / Myrtle Avenue)\nRain location: Ingersoll Cornerstone Community Center\, 177 Myrtle Ave\, 11217 \nJoin us for dance\, music\, and poetry by neighbors and artists; a participatory altar to the ancestors; and a celebration of joy\, summer\, and community. \nFeaturing:\nNajee Omar\, Poet\, Educator\, and ICAC Artist-in-Residence (2018-2021)\nFreakquencee – Hip-Hop/Funk/Soul artist\nICAC members\, youth artists\, and special guests \nCelebrating the release of Resources for Joy\, a community-sourced guide published by the ICAC. Copies will be available at the SHARE!\, and digital copies are available for download. Designed in collaboration with Yazmany Arboleda. \n“Joy is the feeling of music playing any and everywhere.
