Let’s Vote: Q&A with City Council District 35 Candidates

Thu, Jun 10th, 2021

Gathering with our colleagues across Fort Greene, we sat down with Democratic primary candidates running for the local District 35 City Council seat. In partnership with other local organizations who help manage our neighborhood’s public spaces, we asked the candidates questions about their vision and agenda for Fort Greene and Clinton Hill’s public spaces – including parks, plazas, streets and sidewalks.

These conversations were organized and led by the Fort Greene Park Conservancy, Friends of Commodore Barry Park, FAB Fulton, and us – the Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership.

Thank you to the participating candidates for their time, including Renee Collymore, Curtis Harris, Michael Hollingsworth, Crystal Hudson, and Hector Robinson.

Registered Democrats can vote for these candidates during the upcoming primary. Please visit the NYC Board of Elections website for information on when, where, and how to vote.
