SUMMARY:Fort Greene/Clinton Hill Senior Resource Fair
DESCRIPTION:The 1st Annual Fort Greene/Clinton Hill Senior Resource Fair will take place on Wednesday\, March 23rd from 11AM to 2PM at Cumberland Gotham Health Center\, 4th Floor Auditorium located at 100 North Portland Avenue (corner of Park Avenue and North Portland). \nThe FREE fair will feature 30 vendors that represent a wide variety of city agencies and citywide service providers\, including: Shape UP NY\, Ingersoll Community Center\, Fort Greene Strategic Neighborhood Action Partnership (SNAP)\, LIU Platinum Sneakers Program\, St. Joseph’s College\, Mark Morris Dance\, the Brooklyn Family Justice Center\, Meals on Wheels\, the NYC Department of the Aging\, and MTA’s Access-A-Ride Program. A number of Myrtle Avenue businesses that offer weekly senior discount specials are also invited\, including Move with Grace Yoga\, Dance & Fitness Studio\, Sandbox Pack & Ship\, Lucky Lotus Yoga\, Myrtle Drug Care Corp and Myrtle Pharmacy. \nInterested senior-focused organizations and service providers\, may contact the organization if interested in participating in the Senior Resource Fair at (718)230-1689 ext 5#. \nThe Senior Resource Fair is being organized by the Myrtle Avenue Revitalization Project LDC and its Senior Advisory Council (SAC) in partnership with Cumberland Gotham Health Center with generous support from the Office of Council Member Laurie A. Cumbo and the New York Community Trust.
