Marty Markowitz and Boro Hall have launched ''Shop Brooklyn', a collective and coordinated campaign to transform everyone's borough-pride into an economic force.
Hundreds of small businesses all over Brooklyn, including on Myrtle Avenue have signed on to offer discounts and specials for our shopping experiences. For participating businesses, just look for the yellow 'Shop Brooklyn' sign on the door.
So, whether you are looking for delicious holiday pastries…or to have a satisfying, mouth-watering lunch or dinner…or to get groomed and pampered before your big Brooklyn holiday bash…or to get little brother or sister that cute blouse or cool bag you checked out in the store window…or that get that must-have piece of jewelry…or to find a lovely bouquet…or a grand bottle of vintage or not vintage wine perfect with the holiday meal…or if you need a place to pack, ship or email to that special holiday gift or message…or if you want to treat your sweetie to lotions and other fragrances you know he or she would love…or give a treat of dance or yoga classes for stress release, the love of the art or meeting new year goals, or… Hey, you get the idea, and it is plain and simple:
If you love your borough, there is no better time to show it than this holiday season. Hope to see you at the stores. Shop BROOKLYN, baby. 😉
