Key Foodย Supermarket (formerly Associated) located at 490 Myrtle Avenue in Clinton Hill will officially re-open on October 9th at 7am.
The supermarket, between Ryerson and Hall will boast added store shelves, a salad bar, bakery and expanded meats section.
Opening day will be a soft launch to work out any kinks, with grand opening activities expected at a later date.
The store name change from Associated indicates a switch in distributors. Some Brooklyn Fare items will also be on store shelves.
The supermarket, which was closed for well over a year due to redevelopment of the site (going from a one story commercial building to a 6-story mixed used building with 93 residential units and added commercial units including TD Bank), has been much missed. With the recent closureย of another local supermarket ย on Lafayette Avenue, many have been inquiring even more about the store’s return.
