This Saturday, April 13th, from 11am-2pm at Long Island University – Brooklyn, Jumpstart, a national early childhood organization, is hosting a large community literacy fair, Jumpstart for a Day. This is an annual festival celebrating literacy and service that brings volunteer groups from local universities and organizations together with young children, this will be LIU’s first year hosting JFAD in Brooklyn.
