Artists – are you intrigued by ‘what’s behind the gates’ at the Brooklyn Navy Yard? BLDG 92’s Visiting Artist Program grants access to artists who wish to use the Yard—both the site itself and the heritage it holds—as inspiration for the creation of work on-site in any medium including, but not limited to, photography, painting, music, dance, sculpture and writing. This program is offered once per year, and the duration is flexible. Applications are available now, with a deadline of 11/24/2014.  BLDG 92 is holding an information session on 10/30/14 from 3-5pm, and interested applicants are encouraged to attend.
