Support Black-Owned Businesses & Community

Fri, Mar 4th, 2022

The grief and anger we’ve seen across the country and within our own neighborhood is a response to centuries of anti-Black racist oppression, not just a single event. We want to acknowledge that truth and the heightened grief, frustration, and fatigue that many in our community are experiencing. We invite neighbors to join us in supporting each other by taking action, learning, and advancing peace and justice.

The effects of this are still with us and impact all of our lives on a daily basis. We invite all neighbors to acknowledge and learn about this fact-based history. For an intro to this topic, we recommend:

BE KIND

Everyone can benefit from a little extra patience, care, and kindness as we all experienced a heightened level of anxiety and stress from current events. Let’s take care of each other, neighbors.
