The Brooklyn Strand workshop hosted by the Community Board 2 Parks Committee in September drew more than 75 attendees! Based on the turnout there will be three additional public workshops to gather community feedback on Phase II of the Brooklyn Strand. Participate in one of these workshops as they develop a more-detailed vision for the areas under and along the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (BQE) from the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges to Commodore Barry Park and consider how to create a unified park network to better connect Downtown Brooklyn and its surrounding neighborhoods. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
