Calling all kid artists and cookie lovers! Le Petit Bakery is holding its 2nd Annual Art Cookie Contest, a cookie decorating contest on Saturday, May 10th. Please sign up in advance at Le Petit Bakery so that they are able to prepare supplies for you. The cookie decorating contest will take place between 1pm and 3pm. Myrtle’s own Acting Executive Director, Meredith Phillips Almeida will serve as one of the judges.
The contest is open to children in grades 1-2 at 1pm-2pm and children in grades 3-4 will participate from 2-3pm. Judging will take place after each time slot. The cost to enter is $10 (in advance) or $12 at the door.
Prizes include:
1st prize: winning cookie will be duplicated and sold at the bakery as a Le Petit Bakery Spring cookie
2nd prize: $10 gift card
3rd prize: $5 gift card
