Join us on Saturday, March 1 at 2PM for our last workshop of the season: When Bad Things Happen: Navigating Loss and Trauma with Mindfulness. We’ll use movement, play, imagination, and brainpower to build our capacity to cope with trauma and loss.
A deeply-felt loss or traumatic experience can be hard to move through, whether it happened recently or years ago. If you’ve lost someone close, survived abuse, assault, an accident, illness, medical procedure, fetal loss, divorce or separation, this workshop can help you discover new ways to move through your experience.
• Build your capacity to be with the experience without reliving it
• Learn how your brain can help you cope
• Develop greater acceptance
• Explore ways to communicate your feelings/needs to others
The workshop will be held at Melt Massage and Bodywork, 84 Lafayette Avenue (corner of S. Portland) in Ft. Greene. Fee is $15 individual/$20 couple. We hope to see you there!
