Part of the NY Times “1619” project examining the legacy of enslavement in the U.S., Walt Whitman Library hosts Raul Rothblatt who will talk about preserving #227 Duffield and the parts believed to be safe stops on the Underground Railroad.

“227 Duffield Street was home to two prominent African American Abolitionists who were friends of and hosted William Lloyd Garrison.
