Walt Whitman Walking Tour of Fort Greene Park

Every 2nd Saturday of the month from May-August, the Fort Greene Park Conservancy in collaboration with the Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership, present a free walking tour of Fort Greene Park.  Learn about the history of Fort Greene Park and Walt Whitman’s contribution as an advocate. Tour is 90 minutes long and will take place inside Fort Greene Park starting at the Visitor Center. This special tour will feature performances by Contralto Nicole Mitchell.

Meet at the Visitor Center at 2:00 pm.
