Kiini Ibura owner, jewelry designer gets big nod for designs in recent Atlanta Post article

The Atlanta Post recently gave a big nod to Fort Greene-based business owner and jewelry designer, Melody Burns of Kiini Ibura Jewelry.

The August 4th article titled, '10 African-American Visual Artists You Need to Know' features many multi-talented creatives, including textile and fashion designers. Two trademarks of Melody's work is that each piece is 100% handmade and and features precious and semi-precious stones, including turquoise, Ghanaian glass, Austrian crystals, African amber and fresh water pearls.

Melody's work has been seen on the likes of Whoopi Goldberg, who donned a gorgeous Kiini Ibura necklace on an episode of The View late last year and singers, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott and Angie Stone.
