La Rina Is Open for Business

The new Fort Greene restaurant, La Rina Pastaficio & Vino (pasta factory and wines) owned by Giulia Pelliccioni and head chef, Sylvia Barban, both also of Aita restaurant in Clinton Hill, opened their doors at 387 Myrtle Avenue in Fort Greene last week. Giulia also owns Aita Trattoria in Crown Heights.

La Rina makes housemade dry and fresh pastas as well as a range of Italian dishes and wines.

Both owners are originally from Italy, Giulia from Central and Chef Sylvia from Southern Italy, but their menu will reflect menu items from a wide variety of regions in Italy.

LaRina will have an inventive menu, with a wide variety of wines, small plates and a focus on fresh, delicious and affordable.
