Slow Food NYC and the Brooklyn Food Coalition will compete against each other in a Seafood Throwdown competition where the challenge will be to “transform a secret seafood ingredient with other foods from the farmers market vendors into culinary delights!” Come out and support Myrtle Eats Fresh Community Chef Darrell Robinson while he, alongside Mukti Banerjee, represent the Brooklyn Food Coalition in this high energy race that highlights the importance of local seafood in restoring a healthy ocean ecosystem.

Cheryl Smith of Cheryl’s Global Soul & reigning champion

Matt Timms of The Takedown will emcee the event giving the play-by-play of all the action!
