Green Pets Spa & Boutique (572 Myrtle) is the first time business endeavor for local Clinton Hill resident, Twain Belgrave. Green Pets is an eco-friendly daycare, spa and pet grooming space located between Emerson Place and Classon Avenue. Twain has been involved in pet grooming for more than 10 years and looked to himself for solutions when he realized two things: 1) that for most of his career he had been observing and learning from people who were themselves first time entrepreneurs, and 2) that there was a lack of pet-related businesses filling the needs of the more environmentally and health conscious pet owner.

Green Pet offers daycare, boarding, grooming and a large outdoor play area. Green Pets is eco-friendly in its operations as well as products and services. There are toys made from recycled materials and natural shampoos. The business uses energy efficient light bulbs and biz cards made from recycled paper. Right now they are about 60% green.
