Gentleman FarmerGentleman Farmer Fort Greene, the popular farm to table restaurant located at 378 Myrtle Avenue, kicked off their new happy hour menu this week. Stop in and check it out any Sunday thru Thursday from 5pm to 7pm. Enjoy delicious farm-free ingredients for dinners and drink specials for $15, $20, $29 or less!

Happy Hour menu items include:

SERVED WITH FRIES + BEER: $15 which includes selections from the following:

Bison Burger (add cheese +1; add foie gras +12
Mussels (choice of curry, roquefort, mariniere or chorizo
Boar Belly Bahn Mi (daikon, carrots, cucumber, cilantro, spicy mayo
Tilapia Po Boy (fennel, watercress)
Harissa Duck Wings (raita dip)

PRIX FIXE SPECIAL: $29 which includes selections from the following:

APPETIZERS: onion soup or gazpacho, curried snails (curried garlic sauce); roasted cauliflower (anchovy breadcrumbs, pecorino, fennel pollen aioli); octopus carpaccio (black radish, grapefruit, ginger; grilled calamari (kohirah kimchi, roasted garlic);

ENTREES: tagliatelle (seasonal mushrooms, pecorina truffle); red snapper (fennel, yellow squash, zucchini, baby carrots); pork filet mignon (brussels sprouts, shitake mushrooms, cherry tomatoes); angus hanger steak (peppercorns, prosciutto-wrapped green beans, rosemary gratin); bison short ribs (aligot potatoes, baby carrots);

DESSERTS: strawberry parfait (caramel chantilly, candied walnuts), sorbet trio (pear, mango, black currant), creme brulee.

Dairyere (firm cow’s milk cheese, with a medium sharp & nutty taste, aged 8 to 12 months)
Womanchego (medium mild sheep cheese & a touch sweet with hints of fruit and nut)
Holligan (ripe ‘stinky’ brine washed-rind cheese with a soft-creamy interior
Despearado (ripe and fruity washied in pear mash and PoireWilliams)
Black Ledge Blue (moderately creamy & medium strong blue with a rich, slightly earthy finish, aged 2 to 5 months)
