Teens, if you are looking to learn new skills, learn more about entrepreneurship, earn some funds for the new school year and meet new friends, consider applying for the 2016 summer apprentice program. The summer apprentice program is a joint program of the Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership (Young Entrepreneur Mentorship Program [YEMP] and the Alice Mann Center of Emmanuel Baptist Church (Teens That Mean Business Program [TTMB]).
Students will work with a Myrtle Avenue small business or other Brooklyn businesses for 20 hours per week plus have classroom learning opportunities related to entrepreneurship for an additional 5 hours every week.
The program is open to rising high school sophomores thru seniors. Teens must reside or attend school locally.
