Touch A Truck on Myrtle Avenue

Saturday, September 19, 2026
10 AM – 2 PM
Clinton Avenue (between Myrtle & Dekalb Avenues)

Get ready to climb aboard, honk some horns and explore some seriously big wheels!

Join the Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership as we transform Clinton Avenue into a FREE, family-friendly playground of trucks, vehicles and hands-on fun. Touch A Truck gives kids the chance to get up close to the vehicles they see working around New York City every day — and, in many cases, climb aboard, hop into the driver’s seat, steer and explore these mighty machines for themselves!

This year’s confirmed participants include NYC DOT, DSNY, NYC Parks, FDNY, NYPD, Park Slope Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Brooklyn Navy Yard, Brooklyn Public Library’s Kidsmobile x Walt Whitman Branch, JP Urban Moving, Dumbo Moving, ECDNY and Walton Hauling — with more participant announcements to come!

And the fun goes well beyond the trucks! Enjoy music from father-and-son duo DJ Saint James Joy, book giveaways from Brooklyn Book Bodega, NYC Ghostbusters’ signature Slime Lab, Double Dutch with Elite BKLYN Jumpers, face painting & balloon twisting by Sparkly Faces, and so much more.

Bring your family and friends, and share the fun by tagging us @myrtleavebklyn and using #TouchATruck.

Please note: Vehicle participation is subject to change.

Special thanks to our 2026 Touch A Truck sponsors for helping make this free community event possible!

Myrtle’s Avenue’s Touch A Truck 2026 has been made possible in part with the generous support of State Senator Jabari Brisport, Assemblymember Phara Souffrant Forrest, Council Member Crystal Hudson, and the New York City Department of Small Business Services Small BID Support Grant/Neighborhood 360° Program.
