It's official. Walgreen's held its grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony this past Tuesday at 9am at its new digs at 379 Myrtle Avenue. Many were in attendance, including Chanteria Luvera, store manager; Hien Nguyen, Walgreens District Manager; Council Member Letitia James; John Dew, CB 2; MARP staff; community members; and Patricia Crank, a neighborhood resident who had been advocating for and eagerly awaiting the store's presence for some time.

The reusable green shopping bags seen in the picture are part of Walgreen's new initiative to keep things as green as possible.
