Fort Greene gained another delicious food spot this week with the opening of a new prepared food shop just off of Myrtle Avenue near Fort Greene Park. The team behind Marius & Co. celebrated a ribbon cutting this Friday at 154 Carlton, between Myrtle and Willoughby Avenues.

We’re teeming with excitement for the opening of three, much-anticipated businesses on Myrtle Avenue:
Dépanneur, essentially the French Canadian word for Bodega, also selected Myrtle Avenue for its second location. This not-so-average corner store will become an excellent stop for quick but crafted sandwiches (just look at their
Meg and Jen, the principle duo behind Hudson Jane, have been hard at work renovating the space at 360 Myrtle Avenue. Although we don’t have an official opening date, we’re expecting to see the wine flowing by early July. The general theme is an all day cafe and wine bar, but we’re intrigued by the super club membership option, which includes a once a month weekend dinner for members only.

Free Yoga overlooking the Manhattan skyline? Yes please! This annual fitness series is the perfect way to shake off the stresses of your workweek. Be sure to bring your own yoga mat. The group meets near the Fort Greene Park monument which is a paved area of the park.

Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership and the Fulton Area Business Alliance are thrilled to present the Fort Greene & Clinton Hill Artwalk.
Stroll the neighborhood to experience the works of more than 35 community artists on display in businesses, galleries and public spaces in Fort Greene and Clinton Hill. The Artwalk launched on Saturday, May 20 with all locations will hosting a one-time-only “Meet the Artist” event. Exhibitions continue through June 21.
